We’re thrilled to have raised $400,000 at the pre-seed stage and to be taking part in the Techstars Toronto Accelerator. Techstars, Adventures Lab, 70 Ventures, Presto Ventures and Globalive Capital have all provided valuable backing, for which we’re really thankful. We’ve also expanded the functionality of Pibox, which is now able to accept video and image files in addition to audio.
Techstars Toronto has been a really amazing opportunity to be involved in. Starting back in October, Pibox has benefited from the insights, advice, and resources of leading industry professionals from companies such as Google, Amazon and Sony. The program is set to finish up in January and will help to launch the company into the next chapter with a focus on brand development.
We’re expanding the functionality of Pibox too. With additional funding secured and the recent addition of image and video capability, we’re further developing features that will enable people to collaborate with ease across a range of projects. A mobile platform and increased compatibility with other creative tools are also in the pipeline.
Finally, we’ve also unveiled a new landing page. It’s a slick new look that will help to communicate the essence of what we’re about and what users can achieve using Pibox.
